AROUND ENTICK

The site is in the village of Dunswell, which is half way between the picturesque market town of Beverley and the 2017 City of Culture, Hull.

The site is flanked by the River Hull, which allows countryside walks along its banks in either direction.

In the village is a Chinese restaurant and takeaway, a petrol station with convenience shop that is open until late, and a lovely country pub/motel that serves meals everyday.

The nearest train stations are in Cottingham or in Beverley, both of which connect to Hull Station.
Buses are available from Hull or Beverley directly through Dunswell village, and it is approximately a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to the site.

You are a short drive away from the East Yorkshire Wolds, where there are plenty of walks with stunning views. The east coast towns of Hornsea, Withernsea, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are all close by too.

YORKSHIRE WOLDS

Gorgeous villages are abound in East Yorkshire. Quintessential English village greens, country pubs and beautiful churches are all to be discovered.

The Wolds themselves are a sight to behold, with fantastic walks. Extending across the land north of Beverley, these chalk hills stretch to the coast.

Notable places to visit are Thixendale, Burton Agnes, Fridaythorpe and Bempton Cliffs. We will be happy to advise the curious traveller on our favourite places.

HULL

This much maligned city has more to offer than most.

Being the UK City of Culture in 2017, its cultural reputation was valued, and this recognition brought a welcome and significant amount of investment into the centre.

The legacy of this award lives on, and the new theatres, concert halls and events continue to bring incredible arts to the region.

BEVERLEY

Beverley was ranked one of the best places to live in the UK and rightly so. It is a small town, but with a rich history.

The Minster is at the heart of Beverley. A towering Gothic masterpiece, it is seen from almost every corner of the town.

The town hosts a lively market on Saturday and Wednesday, and boasts a wide range of boutique shops and cafes.
